I thought that I would set out on the table my collection of Roman/Carthaginian figures as they would be for a Command and Colors game. Just about enough for a number of the scenarios:
With just a few more figures to go I am almost ready for the first game.
Very impressive! I especially like the elephant
ReplyDeleteThanks MJT. The elephant fits in better than I thought it would.
DeleteNice. C&C:A is a great painting motivator: "Just two more units of medium cavalry and I can do Zama..."
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment and good luck with Zama! I looked at some of the early battles in the scenario booklet and was dismayed to see Carthaginian chariots - where do I find those in 54mm scale!
DeletePayPal does credit, apparently 😉 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/375490526696?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=BlvXvZQmQhe&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=IoKXeScIQBO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
DeleteI could use the box to make some walls!
DeleteSuper collection, looks great to see them all on the table, very nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Donnie. Still a few more bits and pieces to put together.
DeleteTwo impressive looking armies for your C&C games.
ReplyDeleteThanks Peter. I am looking forward to trying an Ancient game in this scale.
DeleteThey look very grand, and rather more of them than I imagined! I also base my painting on the minimum required for various CnC games. Re the Chariots, you could always just use cavalry instead, or bodge something up from a couple of 54mm plastic limbers. My (20mm) Cartho chariots look suspiciously like Airfix ones with different wheels.
