Airfix Battlegroup

 I have now completed the balance of forces added to my Airfix Germans to create a nice rounded battlegroup.  There are six Panzer IV tanks, some motorcycle recce troops, a couple of mortars and a 75mm infantry gun.  Apart from the tanks, the motor cycles and other equipment are by other manufacturers, including Fujimi, Zvezda and Matchbox.

    That is very inspiring, it almost got me wanting to do exactly the same thing, but with the Airfix Arica Corps and Eighth Army figures! But then sanity prevailed. I've still got my old Airfix German Infantry in a box, originally painted for use with Charles Grants "Battle". They also had two 88s for support, three of the classic Panzer IV. and three Matchbox Pz III.
