Peninsular Warriors - French Veterens - Grenadiers
Thes figures are Warrior French line infantry, painted as line grenadiers; however, I have decided to list them as veterens, partially clothed in locally sourced uniforms. These guys have been in Spain for many months and are seasoned campaigners:
The French infantry paint up really well. I've worked out that painting wood glue on the shakos prior to undercoating gives a good representation of the cover, if you want to enhance the campaign look. And good news - John has the Chasseur a Cheval masters (like good Russian veterans they struggled through the snow to get home...) and is working on the production masters, so that's a big gap in the range filled.
Very nice, and very shiny...

I will keep my open for them when I place my next order.
DeleteThese look like grognards you can rely on! I like them!
ReplyDeleteIt will be a shame to see them routed by a steady British line (almost)!
ReplyDeleteWe will have to see how they get on against the Spanish first!
DeleteA good looking unit advancing in unison across the tabletop.
