In a recent batch of figures I found four light infantry figures with broken weapons. They are by Miniature Figurines and are North African troops. They are still in production and I obtained two more to make up a unit. I replaced all of the javelins to make a useful little ancient unit. I just love the hair style!

ReplyDeleteThanks Donnie. They are indeed still available, although I have noticed some slight differences. If you look at the picture, from left to right, figures number 3 and 6 are the current castings. The new figures seem a bit more slender and smaller. They also have different weapons. The current figures just have open hands and do not come with weapons, whereas the original figures had moulded javelins, which in this case had broken off. I cut away the weapon stubs and drilled though the hands before adding a pair of javelins to each figure.
