Another refurbishment, this time some 25mm Ancient Egyptians. I bought them secondhand and they had simply been sprayed white and were missing their weapons. Once again I have used Warlord metal spears. cut down to size. The figures represent heavy infantry with hardened leather helmets and body armour. Shields are animal hide:

DeleteAnother great little unit, are the mooted Prussian Cuirassiers the SYW variety? The SYW range was really rather good, if limited to Prussians and Austrians.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rob. The Prussians are Napoleonic. They were painted but badly mangled and missing their swords. The horses were all bent and twisted too. I do like saving figures thought to be lost and beyond help.
