25mm Napoleonic Bavarian Light Infantry

These figures came as a gift from one of my internet friends. Neither he nor I know of their origin, but they have a similarity in terms of size, moulding and pose to Warrior figures; however, they are not by Warrior.  The officer is a Minifigs S Range casting and he goes well with the other figures.

Bavarian light infantry wore green jackets, with black facings, piped red, along with grey breeches, very much in the jaeger style of the period. They are painted to represent the 1st Battalion around about 1811.

Here are a few pictures:

If anyone can identify these figures, I would be interested to know what make they are.

  1. They do look rather Warrior like - homecast conversions, perhaps? They look great, whatever they are.

    1. I don't think that these are homecasts as I have seen one or two elsewhere for sale. But, you may be right.

  2. I'm pretty sure they are Revo figures, still available in packs from Mick Yarrow

    1. I took a look at the Revo website, not a manufacturer that I am familiar with and what an extensive range there is! I am not sure that my figures are Revo. They look a little different and the Revo Bavarians all have blanket rolls on top of their knapsacks, whereas mine are rolled around the body. I shall go back and take a closer look at Revo though!
