Hichliffe WW2 British Infantry 20mm

The refurbishment of the first lot of my Hinchliffe 20mm British is now complete.  I am also replacing some of the plastic figures with Hinchliffe originals too:

Basic Memoir '44 units:

A Vickers MG unit:
Command figures, forward observer team, flame thrower etc:

  1. I had all of those! The pointing officer was my Brian Horrocks. I really liked them a (apart from the PIAT operator that carried his own wall around). This shows how well they paint up.

    1. Yes, the PIAT guy is a bit odd - especially in the middle of a field!

    1. Thanks, like most old figures they tend to look much better with a bit of paint slapped on.

    1. They must have been in many 80s wargames armies as they seem to pop up quite often for sale.

    1. I have a few of the Hinchliffe US troops, but not enough for a unit; I must dig those out and see how they look with some paint on them.
