Warlord Epic Waterloo French Army on Parade

I have finally organised and based my Epic 15mm French army and I attach a few pictures to show the result.  I still have some more heavy cavalry and skirmishers, as well as some horse artillery to come back from the painter, but the army is just about complete. All of the figures were painted professionally apart from the Guard, which I did.

An overview:

The light cavalry, Chasseurs, Hussars and Lancers, as well as a battery of horse artillery.

The line infantry, foot artillery and skirmishers:

The heavy cavalry, currently consisting of just one regiment of Carabiniers and a horse artillery battery:

The Imperial Guard:

Guard foot artillery:

They will be in action soon.

  1. Hello there Bob,

They are lovely looking old chap! I always had a soft spot the later Carabinier uniform - really striking looking.

That is what you call an army.

    All the best,

    DC

    1. Thanks DC, I agree, these Warlord figures do look good when painted and based. there must be over 1000 figures on parade.

  5. That is real eye candy, I have only a few bases done, but they do impress. I did a French v Prussian outing today …. But mostly with raw plastic on show as I only have a small French brigade painted so far.

    1. Hi Norm. Despite being so small they do take some time to paint and it does become a little tedious too. But, the effort is worthwhile. I have some Epic ACW troops too, but the lid has stayed firmly on the box until the Napoleonics are finished.
