Minifigs S Range recasts of Russian Infantry in helemet and greatcoat, painted as line grenadiers. The officer is by Hinton Hunt, as I did not like the pose of the S Range offering.
I tend not to use mounted officers at regiment/battalion level as they just get in the way on the table, but do have mounted officers in my formations at brigade and division level.
A stunning unit! You nailed it. To me, this is how Crimean-era Russians ought to look. Do you ever include mounted officers in your infantry units?
