I acquired these figures in a rather poor state, with no weapons. I thought it would be fun to do them up, giving them some spears and a lick of paint.
They turned out quite well and are off to join my Egyptian army:
i bow to your better knowledge. I only purchased Napoleonics in the 70s. I remember being annoyed that the shop would not break the boxes down and I ended up with 10 Old Guard drummers!
Great looking figures and very nicely painted, good to see them live to fight again!
ReplyDeleteThanks Donnie, it is very satisfying renovating old castings like this.
DeleteNicely restored figures Bob (even if they don't appreciate culture)
ReplyDeleteHo ho ho! Thanks MJT there are some tatty Persians about to be given a new lease of life too.
DeleteAll you need now is a 25mm Samson for a very quick skirmish….
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeff, I was rather looking for a Goliath figure to lead them!
DeleteClassic figures, they just don't make 'em like they used to.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rob, they do have a 1980s classic look about them.
Delete80s? I got into these in the 70s.
