I agree with your comments regarding the muskets, which can be quite brittle. The older figures were cast in very bendy metal and these seem to be less prone to breakages.Bob The Old Painterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12799920263660656268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7474733860161790452.post-76242309815383020382020-05-06T23:23:00.786-07:002020-05-06T23:23:00.786-07:00I agree Ross, even the roughest figures can look g...I agree Ross, even the roughest figures can look good once painted, maybe one of the appeals of refurbishing old figures? My one complaint is that the muskets tend to fall off. At any rate a few units of my Austrian Army are Warrior figures, grouped into a single Army Corps: grenadiers, shako and helmet line infantry. The few jagers fetched up as Brunswickers.<br />Archduke Piccolohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15533325665451889661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7474733860161790452.post-51697209568730135152020-05-01T05:24:16.671-07:002020-05-01T05:24:16.671-07:00It is amazing at times what a suitable coat of pai...It is amazing at times what a suitable coat of paint will do for miniatures, especially when painted in a style that fits the figure design.
